Our Capabilities
Tycon is not only a professional casting foundry to produce highly precise and complex casting components, but also a company to provide high-valued added machining and surface treatments on our produced castings to our customers who are themselves market leaders in their own field around the world. We utilize advanced technological practices & developments in special alloy casting utilizing automation throughout the process to manufacture high precision and high value products.
Precision Casting
At our foundry we offer investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting. This technique allows us to produce complex shapes with excellent surface quality. From starting with a simple wax pattern, we can produce high quality parts with high dimensional accuracy for a wide range of industries.
Sand Casting
For larger parts up to a few tonnes, we have advanced sand casting equipment, a semi-automated production line and extensive technical expertise to support our customers requirements.
Precision Machining
Our in-house machine shop has a full range of machining equipment including lathes, milling machines and machining centres to offer precision machined parts to satisfy strict dimensional and surface requirements.
Heat Treatment
At Tycon our natural gas heat treatment furnace, can fulfil a variety of heat treatment processes, with high thermal efficiency and reliability.
Testing & Inspection
Our qualified and experienced testing technicians in our on-site laboratory use the latest testing equipment and machinery to ensure our castings meet the quality and requirements expected by our customers.
